The Object-Oriented specification Measurement tool (OOM) was implemented  by Thomas Papritz at the University of Magdeburg in 1994 and measures the OO diagrams (based on the Coad Yourdon methodology) using any OO metrics characterized in the following figure.

The principles of this tool is the same like XMI measurement in the UML world today. The tool starts as following.

Any functions can be used as measurement selection and presentation of the measured OO diagrams as a file description.
